Arhuaco Bags are handmade by the Arhuacos, an indigenous tribe in the Sierra Nevada near Santa Marta in Colombia. The bag is made of 100% local and virgin wool. Each bag is unique and the patterns reflect Indigenous beliefs.
The Arhuaco have a special connection with mother nature and and their goal is to protect and teach about the importance of life preservation. Therefore all the Arhuaco Mochila Bags are made of virgin wool yarn from their locally raised sheep.
